Day 17 - 19 - Visiting local places

Visiting some of the local places.  First - Port Townsend.  We seem to go there the most.  Famous for their wooden boats and I mean boats of all kinds...kayaks, sail boats, trawlers, and more.  They also had a strategic fort on the point - Fort Worden.  And across the bay are Fort Casey and Fort Flagler.  Together these three forts protected the water entrance to Seattle.

There's no shortage of places to walk - beaches everywhere!

The deer just walk right through town.

Port Townsend is very historic - lots of old buildings and homes
