Day 22 - Victoria sightseeing

Car and all - we ventured onto the ferry in Port Angeles for a ride to Victoria - Vancouver Island.  Yes - this year we remembered our passports.
Victoria is a beautiful English style city.  Very scenic and very easy to get around.  Our hotel was delightful and right in the middle of downtown Victoria.

Getting on the ferry - we were number 184.  They put a ton of cars on that boat.

Leaving Port Angeles - those are the beginning of the Olympic Mountains in the background.

Arriving at Victoria - the days all always clear in this area but because of a huge fire in Canada, we experienced smoke on our entire Canada trip.

Before our check-in time - we drove north on the island to explore.
We stopped at this wonderful spot for lunch.

80 km (you do the math) north of Victoria.
This town is famous for all the beautiful murals on the stores and buildings!

There were so many - 39 in total.  I picked my favorites and made several collages.

Then back to Victoria to check in to our hotel.
We went to the Spaghetti Factory for dinner!!
